Shahzad Butt
Managing Director, S&N Builders
Born in Kuwait in 1971 into a family of engineers, Shahzad Butt grew up surrounded by the world of construction and design. Under the guidance of his father and grandfather — both respected engineers — he trained as an apprentice and inherited a proud building tradition. That legacy stretches back to the Subcontinent, where his grandfather contributed to landmark projects including Government College Lahore and the Lahore Railway Station.
Early Career in the UK
Shahzad’s professional journey began in the United Kingdom. From 1993 to 2003, he worked on major contracts with leading firms such as Skanska and Anglia, specialising in glazing and specialist fit-outs.
International Experience
From 2003 onwards, Shahzad expanded internationally, taking on major projects in Saudi Arabia as a subcontractor for Clestra Hauserman Group (including Aramco offices), as well as in Bahrain and Dubai, where he worked on office partitions, DESSO and Marlay flooring, and large commercial projects such as Dubai Mall.
Return to the UK
Returning to the UK, Shahzad has continued to deliver high-quality construction across both domestic and commercial sectors. Recent highlights include:
- Major roofing and flooring works at Al-Khoei Foundation Schools (2024–25).
- Construction of the Mittal Clinic in Farringdon (2024).
Today
As Managing Director of S&N Builders, Shahzad combines a family legacy of craftsmanship with more than 30 years of personal industry experience and remains widely respected for delivering professional, reliable, and high-standard building services in the UK and other countries.
